Viken, a litte fishing hamlet along the Sound

The little fishinghamlet Viken lies along the coastline on the Kullapaeninsula. It is first mentioned in the 16th century. Today the buildings from the 19th century, dominates the hamlet, beatiful and wellpreserved halftimbered cottages.
The beach towards Mölle is full of stoneblocks from the latest iceage. The Kullapaeninsula have been inhabited for more than 10.000 years.

In Viken You can visit a house from the late 19th century "Paul Jönska Huset". Here the seacapten Paul Jönsson lived with his family and You can see inside how a family in those days lived. The house is open during the summer, on sundays between 15-17. The garden is open all year around.
